I bought a cute little tin and a styrofoam ball from Hobby Lobby (one of my favorite places). The styrofoam must fit snug inside your choice of container. Then place the suckers in the foam and you end up with a cute little sucker holder. I plan to reuse this again and again by either using the same holes or flipping the styrofoam over and making new holes. :)

Commercial Breaks
One secret I keep in my pocket for those times when students seem to be sleepy or have been working really hard ~ I give them a commercial break. It may be a hilarious video clip or picture I've found online. We just take a few moments to laugh and then begin working again. A little time out always helps everyone. Give it a try and let me know what you think. ;-)
New Blog, New Post....
My previous blog has disappeared from here somehow but oh well. I'll start again. :)
This will be my tenth year teaching at South Todd Elementary School. I've taught every grade but Kindergarten. This will be my second year teaching 5th grade. I'm so excited!
I look forward to sharing my thoughts, ideas and daily adventures with you.
